Mark is the primary author of Mark’s musings. He’s a Christ-following husband and father who is a Biblical Counselor and US Army Chaplain. Mark has been married to Shelly for 27 years and they have a 13 year old daughter, Scharleen, who has cerebral palsy. IN 2022, Mark and Shelly began caring for Mark’s adopted dad who has dementia and some significant physical limitations.

Mark holds of Master of Divinity with an emphasis in counseling from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA and a Doctor of Educational Ministries from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Mark, Shelly, and Scharleen enjoy exploring the areas the Army assigns them, connecting with others. Mark is a motorcycle rider and loves helping his adrenaline junkie girl enjoy life
